They want to rebell the normal ways of society.  These challengers like to things to a certain limit that test the norms of society.  To the common people this might rebellious, but sometimes desperate measure bring out the best of creativity.  

Regardless of the stands we take, art will always be art.  It is somethings that is beautiful only to the eyes of the beholder.
